Juniors and Pentecost!
This week the whole of year 2 went for a visit to the junior school. They were put into different groups, had their lunch and took part in activities in the classrooms. They thoroughly enjoyed it and the staff at junior school were amazed at how well behaved they were! - We are so proud!
Also this week, year two went for a visit to the church to celebrate and learn about Pentecost. The children had different stations in which they visited and did different activities such as create prayers on bunting, write down what they wanted help with on footprints, spreading the message of Jesus through lighting candles and more!
The children really enjoyed learning about this and are now experts in what Pentecost is - why not ask them and get them to explain to you? - The church is open for everyone to visit from 3:30-4:00pm tomorrow afternoon for you to visit to see what the children have been doing if you wish.
Well done year 2 for all your hard work this week!
