We went down to the woods today.........
The children had a fantastic time at Kings Mill Woods!
We used our spotters cards to mark off things that we saw - including robins, geese, ducks, swans, various trees and flowers.
The children talked about why it is important that the birds receive the correct food after they saw a swan suffering from Angel Wing, they discussed the lack of respect for the local area when they saw discarded bottles and dog dirt and they saw how close to the edge they could get without getting stuck in the mud!
