Healthy Minds!
As part of our 'Get Healthy' theme, the children have been experiencing being mindful and exploring the benefits of meditation this week. We had visits from Lekmo the Buddhist Nun from the Pocklington Peace Centre who introduced the children to meditation and empathy with all living things. We also had a visit from a yoga teacher who deepened the children's understanding of managing their feelings and controlling their bodies through slow movements. Again we finished with a meditation to still our minds. Ask your children about the visits and their meditation activities.
