Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

The weather has been so chilly this week that children were wanting to try a different warm snack. They used the internet to explore different foods and found popcorn. The video showed how to heat the oil and add popping corn seeds. After a little while the 'popping' began and the pan was filled to the top! All the children tried a small pot of the popcorn after eating their fruit or vegetable. Delicious! The children have also enjoyed fresh bread and scones this week. Next week they will be tasting prawn crackers and noodles as they have started to find out about Chinese Fairy Tales called Folk Tales.
