Dig Ventures East Yorkshire Archeology
The children have investigated a fantastic time in history today. Harriet from Dig Ventures brought many artefacts from local digs dating back 2000 years ago to the time of the Romans. Amongst many treasures, the children excitedly handled coins, dice from snakes and ladders games, pottery, bones and keys! They took part in an detective gave with clues about a Roman citizen and the illness they had. The children read clues and handled replica bones to discover why the person had been ill.. Thank you to Harriet for all her knowledge and props, we know that the children have learnt a lot about the past.
