Learning at Elmswell!
Robins had a very informative day at Elmswell today. They learnt about which crops Farmer John had harvested this year and how early the harvest had been. We explored different types of grain in the grain stores and learned that one bag of grain is about as heavy as Mrs. Thackray's car! We saw the wild bird seed that Farmer John grows and later on we took part in a 'signs of autumn scavenger hunt'. Then we observed nature closely using picture frames and sketched what we could see. At this point a young frog came to visit some of us!
