A visit from Leckmo Buddhist Nun from Pocklington Peace Centre

The children had a lovely introduction to Buddhism yesterday with stories and drama to help us understand the teachings. Leckmo used beautiful artefacts and costumes to re-enact the story of Buddha. To finish the session, we learnt about meditation, slowing down and being still to empty our minds. The children really benefitted from this exercise. Ask them to show you what they did and have a go yourselves!
