The Y2 children have shown a great deal of enthusiasm for and interest in our whole school Environmentalist project. The children are learning that environmentalists aim to preserve the planet for future generations. We have a particular focus on the issues surrounding landfill, all over the world and we are looking at how to reduce the amount of waste deposited at these sites. Here, the Kingfishers are inventing their own recycling machines; imaging how a waste product could be turned into a new product.
