As part of our PSHE curriculum the children in Seals have all participated in a range of activities linked to UK Parliament Week.
As part of our PSHE Curriculum the Seals have been involved in debates and votes to help them gain an understanding of how Parliament Works. We voted (in secret) as to which book we wanted to have read to us at story time - 'Gustavo the Shy Ghost' was the winner and was enjoyed by all!
The children enjoyed some healthy debates- one of the debates we had was around whether school holidays should be shorter so we could spend more time at school - most of the children felt coming to school more would be better as it means you would learn more, but some felt they needed long holidays so that they can rest!
The children also had a think about what they might like to change - one of the things they think should change is to have more bins in town, especially ones which would separate recycling.
