Visit to NYMR
What a fabulous (and long) day!
We were so excited when we arrived in Pickering to realise we were going on one of the very few steam trains that are running at this time of year (due to fire hazards) . We even got to sit in first class.
Requests for lunch started at around 10.15 and we finally ate at 12.00 at Goathland station. It was so nice to hear from train and station staff and members of the public about how well behaved the children were.
We did a trail around the station before we had to leave. It was a super trip!!
