Trip to Elmswell Farm
The Badger class had a lovely visit to the farm yesterday. We were blessed with beautiful weather the whole day! Farmer John helped us all to learn the importance of plants and their relationship with different animals. We discovered that some animals nibble the young trees and they are protected by a guard on their trunks. Farmer John showed us the bee hives and explained how important bees are to help make new seeds! The most exciting part of the visit however was seeing the wood chopper in action. In the afternoon we played the game the early bird catches the worm! It was great fun!
