Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

It's been another busy week in the Starfish class. In maths we have been focusing on time and reading a clock to o'clock and half past. We have also been looking at the time measurements of seconds, minutes, hours, days and weeks. Our science topic this term is "Plants" and we have started by naming the plants we already know (mostly fruit and vegetables) and also planted a seed and we will observe it growing. 

On Monday the class will be going to Elmswell Farm so don't forget your wellies and waterproof clothing - the forecast is a little wet!  As I am not in school on Monday, Mrs.Lee will be taking the class on the trip. Have a lovely weekend. Mrs.Jackson
