Fun on the farm
The Dolphins had a wonderful day at Elmswell Farm yesterday. On our walk with Farmer John, in the morning, we learnt many interesting facts about the crops that grow on the farm, the chalk river that runs through it and the cattle. A highlight was seeing the calves; including one that was just two days old! In the afternoon, the children spotted signs of spring around the farm, went on a wildflower and tree identification walk and dug up dandelions to learn about the structure of a plant. What a busy and informative day!
