World Book Day
Today the children were very excited to celebrate World Book Day. Our class text was Look Up!, written by Nathan Bryon. It tells the story of Rocket, a young girl who loves all things space. She tries to encourage others to look up at the sky so that they won't miss the Phoenix meteor shower. The Puffins enjoyed listening to the story and completing different activities where they shared their opinions.
Later in the day they exchanged their book tokens for a new story book. Many of the children couldn't wait to start reading.
