Investigating bridges...
As part of our DT project this half term the children are going to be building a bridge in the style of a Fairytale setting or character. (Hence all of the recycling that is being collected. Please feel free to keep sending bits in!) Our focus this week was on different types of bridges. The children took their roles as engineers very seriously and began exploring by building different structures using items around the classroom. They had to predict what would happen when a lot of weight was added and work out how they could possibly make their bridges more secure.
