Blast off!
The children have been finding out about rockets this week. We read the story of Whatever Next by Jill Murphy then watched real astronauts in space. The rockets we looked at were the Apollo flights in 1969 and compared them with todays Space X missions! The children then created their own rockets using tubes to zoom outside in the secret garden. Today we designed, made and ate our own fruit kebabs rockets; they tasted delicious! The children have enjoyed their topic of Let's Move this half term. Next week we are starting to reflect on our year in Foundation. Have a lovely weekend.
