We are pleased to inform you that your child will be bringing home a 'learning-to-read' phonics book today. Your child should be able to read this easily, with a good degree of fluency. Please read this as many times as possible over the week and write the title and any comments in their reading record.
Please could we also remind you that your child has two other books available to read on Collins ebooks (logins were sent out last week). A significant number of children have not yet accessed this and it really is a fabulous resource. Thank you to all those who have been able to.
If your child returned their 'reading for pleasure' book today, they are coming home with a different one. If last week's has not been returned yet, please do so as soon as possible.
All books; e-books, reading for pleasure books and phonics books will be changed on a Monday-if the previous ones have been read.
