Back in time!
This week the children have found out about life in the past for a fireman! They watched a film showing a an early fire pump using a large tube of bamboo standing in a bucket of water. This early model was used in the 1800's. Next they watched a 1930's fire crew demonstrating the fire men needing to pump the water to make the hose work. They could not believe how many people were needed to do this compared to our modern engines! Well done to the children for learning and using words about the past. Next week we are looking at the police force who help us
