This week, as part of our Leaders’ Award, the Kingfishers and our Year Two Dolphin friends have been learning about the kind work that Florence Nightingale is famous for; we learned about five improvements that she made to hospitals. How many can your children tell you about? We also considered how ‘random acts of kindness’ can spread happiness to others. We planned and carried out some of our own; cloakrooms were tidied, secret notes were delivered and lovely cards made. Hopefully there will be lots of ‘random acts of kindness’ shown at home this weekend!
