Kingfishers had a very enjoyable visit to Tesco today to learn more about different types of fruit and vegetables as part of leading a healthy lifestyle. We participated in a quiz in which we had to name a variety of different types of fruit and vegetables that are particular colours. The trickiest being a vegetable that is red! How many can you manage?! We were impressed that many children knew that examples of purple vegetables were beetroot and aubergine! We then enjoyed tasting lots of different coloured produce. There were some firsts for some, though I have to say celery was not a huge hit! Thank you to Becky and Dianne for another informative and fun visit
