Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

A lovely first week back at school! We had lots of fun using Google Earth to look at the world in which we live. We found it interesting to zoom into England, Driffield and then zoom even closer to find our school and some of the other places in Driffield. We talked about our place in school and what we love the most about it. 
In maths we are using our addition and subtraction skills to solve word problems and we’ve been practising counting in twos, fives and tens. 
It was great to get back into PE and we had a great time using the parachute. Next week we are going to continue thinking about the world in which we live and we will also become scientists by setting up an investigation and making predictions about what we think might happen.
