Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

There has been a flurry of activity at school this week! The children had another message from the tooth fairy. They wanted to know what a filling was and why some teeth have them. We will be exploring how to clean teeth next week. The harvested vegetables from last week from our garden were made into soup, delicious! The children explored different seeds inside a pumpkin, sweetcorn and giant sunflower head. The Hedgehog class enjoyed a beautiful sunny visit to Elmswell Farm  today and they enjoyed meeting Farmer John and Mrs Farmer John. There were so many Highland cows and farm birds in the fields. Ask your children about the bridges over the streams. It was a magical day!
