Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

The Badger and Hedgehog children have been exploring the compost bin creatures this week. They have found out lots of facts about the worms and woodlice and their role of mixing and munching the compost together. Next week will will be finding out about snails. During our Heartsmart circle time, the children thought about who helps them each day and who they are thankful for. They then wrote the names of these people on peace doves. In the afternoon the Hedgehogs invited a Badger to join them for their marble jar reward for being kind. The Hedgehogs asked the Badgers if they would like an ice cream treat! After a delicious treat the Hedgehogs entertained the Badgers by standing up and singing songs. The Badger Class then sang a song too! Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine.
