Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

What a wonderful first week back we are having, in Kingfishers! Miss Brough and I are incredibly proud of how well the children have settled back into school life and everyone’s smiley faces have made us so happy! There has been a great deal of fun this week! Highlights have included; recreating the sounds of the savannah using percussion instruments, learning about the lion’s food chain by playing an exciting and active outdoor game (can your child remember the rules?) and making a fruit salad for Gorilla! He wasn’t there, so we ate it instead but next week we will write the recipe for him so that he can make it for himself! We are so thrilled to have the Kingfishers back in the nest! We hope your homes haven’t been too quiet without them.....?!!
