What we have been up to this week
This week we began our Puffin Project. We looked at the different holiday work that had been brought in and learnt some interesting facts too.
We had a mini art lesson where the children drew puffins following step-by-step instructions. The results were fantastic and ever since we have had lots of drawings to go up on the wall.
This afternoon we were making predictions as to how many fish we could catch. Did you know that a puffin can hold up to ten fish at a time? There were plenty of giggles as the children each tried to catch and hold onto the fish (beanbags). Lots of them even managed to beat their prediction which was fantastic.
