Our last session explored the science behind candy floss. The children explored the look and texture of caster sugar and then it was spun in a heated chamber to produce 100's of sugar threads! Then everyone tasted their creations. They found out about its molecular structure and that it had 12 atoms of carbon, 22 atoms of hydrogen and 11 atoms of oxygen. then we had a true or false quiz about light and explored different lights in the dark den!
Thank you everyone for enjoying the science and supporting our club.
