African Folktales
This week the Kingfishers have thoroughly enjoyed reading and acting-out a range of African folktales. We have read about a sly cat, the grasshopper and the toad, a lion who wanted his dinner, a servant who served tongue to his master and about a greedy boy named Anansi. We have been thinking carefully about the morals behind the stories and are using these ideas to plan some of our own stories with moral messages.
