Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

Year One have had a very exciting week with the arrival of some eggs in each of the classrooms. At the moment we are unsure where they have come from or what might be inside, but there has been a lot of discussion and questions asked. Hopefully we will find out a little more next week. 

The children finished the section on Numbers to 20 and we will be starting Addition and Subtraction within 20 next. 

The new spellings are: sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen and twenty. These will be tested next Friday (25th).

Thank you to those who are bringing in supplies for the Workshops. If you are able to spare anything it is always appreciated. Things like cardboard boxes, tubes, bits of material and plastic tubs are always useful!
