Bird explore and sticky feeders!
We had a great session tonight finding out about birds in winter. All the children played True or False bird fact games and discovered lots of interesting things about our feathered friends. Then, the children made bird feeder pine cones and got very sticky!
Leave the cone in the fridge to set the fat and then hang in your garden. Find out the names of any birds that visit your feeder cone. Next week, bring a torch if you have one as we will be looking for nocturnal creatures and finding out why they stay awake at bedtime!
