Today, Year Two were lucky enough to have Pete from Wet Wheels come to talk to us about where the money we raised after Harvest festival would be going and what it would be used for. We learned all about the specially adapted boat that Pete and the crew take disabled adults and children out on and watched some video footage of people on the boat, experiencing the waves and driving the boat. It was wonderful to see how the money we raised would make such a difference to families and, during anti-bullying week and on odd socks day, it was wonderful to consider how differences can be celebrated and how we can help with this. A huge thanks to Pete and Wet Wheels for such an informative presentation.
