Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

The Starfish children had a brilliant afternoon at the library today. They listened carefully to Karen the librarian, who told the children about how the library works. They went on a tour to see everything the library had to offer, and had an explore of the books in the children's section. We played some' whisper games', to help us remember that we use quiet voices when in the library. The children who had library cards with them (new or old) were able to take out a book, and are looking forward to reading them at home.

Everyone now has a library card, so please feel free to visit as much as possible and borrow the amazing books they have to offer.
