Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

The culinary delight at Cooking Crew today was chocolate chip buns! Yum! The children, once again, worked accurately to measure the ingredients. They then creamed the butter and sugar with plenty of elbow grease before adding the other ingredients. They needed to break eggs carefully and beat them to add to the mixture. Finally, they spooned the mixture into the bun cases, taking care not to get it all over the bun tray. If any children should mention that Mrs. Try may have sneakily licked the mixture off the wooden spoon (when we had finished, of course!) I think they must be mistaken...it was definitely Mrs. Edeson!
