Hedgehog Class visit to Elmswell
The children had a fantastic introduction to the farm. We all enjoyed the tractor ride too! Farmer John showed us his lovely cattle and we met Boswell the very large bull. It was a beautiful Autumn morning and we discovered the names of different seeds and trees. John showed us a tree trunk slice and the children counted the rings to find out the age of the tree. One tree was 19years old and the other was 200 years! After a delicious indoor picnic at the centre, we all made pictures in the field using sticks and leaves. We can't wait to visit again,
