Driffield Church Of England Voluntary Controlled Infant School

This week Year One have carried on exploring Supertato’s adventures. Their ICT task was to use Paint to turn an ordinary vegetable into a Superveggie. The children really enjoyed this and we had some fantastic results. Their writing job involved using their learning from science last week to think of different materials that they could use to create a costume for a chosen vegetable. In maths we finished the chapter on number bonds and have begun to explore addition using part whole models. We also had a visit from Mrs Chambers who came to talk about Remembrance Sunday. She has asked us to make some poppies which will be used to create a display in All Saints Church.
