Tasty cheese scones!
The children created some really soft and delicious scones today. The crew found out that you do not 'over work' the fluffy dough or you have very hard scones! All the children mixed the dry ingredients together, weighed and measured liquids. They learnt about 'rubbing in' fat to flour and gently pushing the dough into a flat shape. The end result was fantastic and all the children went home will a lovely hand decorated bag full of warm scones. Well done cooks, you have been a splendid group. Enjoy you Easter break.
