37 hours per week term time only + 15 days

Driffield CE Infant School is a vibrant, three form entry school, situated in the market town of Driffield. The governors, staff, and parents are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated School Business Manager to join us as soon as possible ideally by the end of April or beginning of May 2018.

 You will have:

  •  A certificate, or diploma, in School Business Management or be prepared to complete accreditation;
  • Leadership and management experience of areas including finance and health and safety;
  • Experience of premises and facilities management;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present both written, and verbal information for the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors.
  • A genuine desire to involve yourself fully in the life of our school and to work as part of our forward-thinking team of professionals.

 The successful candidate will join the school’s Senior Leadership Team and be expected to make a major contribution to the work of that team in all aspects of its work in school.

 Visits to the school are welcomed, and can be arranged for the 22nd and 23rd March 2018, between 10am and 4.30pm. Please ring the school to arrange an appointment.

We also have a vacancy for a relief kitchen assistant.

This post will suit someone who has some working knowledge of serving food, ideally from a school meals setting. The ideal candidate will desirably hold a minimum of a foundation food hygiene certificate and will have exemplary standards in cleanliness, both personally and within the kitchen

You will be need to be a team player who is flexible and can work to a high standard without supervision. You will also possess the appropriate skills to work with and communicate with young children.

The job involves assisting the cook and assistant cook with preparing lunches, serving, clearing away, washing up and cleaning the dining room following lunch, all to a very high standard.

The post will be to stand in for staff absence and is paid at scale point 7
